Nanjing Yunjin, honored as the "best of all brocades," represents the pinnacle of ancient Chinese silk weaving artistry with a history spanning nearly 1,600 years. Its name "Yunjin" translates to "cloud brocade," deriving from its dazzling beauty, brilliant colors, and patterns that resemble radiant clouds at sunset.
Unlike embroideries like Su Xiu or Xiang Xiu, which are *stitched* with a needle, Yunjin is directly *woven* on immense traditional drawlooms operated collaboratively by two artisans.
