今天讲讲世界的另外一种解释方式，不适合道德洁癖的人；不适合心理承受能力弱的人，请一定先确定，不属于以上两种人，再往下看，确定继续往下看的，请继续往下阅读。
Today, we're going to discuss another way of interpreting the world. It is not suitable for those with moral absolutism or for those with low psychological resilience. 越有钱的圈子里，信玄学的就是越多。尤其到了中产以上阶级，你会发现这个比例不限接近于100%，就是这么夸张。而同样是这群人，可能白天在跟你们聊什么核心价值观；聊什么数据大模型，晚上到了饭桌上，到了第二场、第三场在聊的真的能让他们感兴趣的还是玄学的话题，这个时候你在跟他们聊白天的那些就行不通了。
**The wealthier the social circle, the more people believe in metaphysics. Especially in the upper-middle class and above, you'll find this proportion is staggeringly high, almost approaching 100%. It's that extreme. These very same people might talk about core values or big data models with you during the day. But at dinner, or during the second or third gathering of the evening, the topics that truly captivate them are metaphysical. At that point, trying to discuss the daytime topics with them just won't work.**

而在跟他们打交道的过程中，你会发现他们里面绝大多数人也不是一开始就信这些，而是财富或者权力到了某个量级以后，自然而然就进入了玄学的大门；又或者是财富和权力到达了某个瓶颈之后，玄学帮他们突破了某个瓶颈，而后他们便都成为了忠诚的信徒。
**When interacting with them, you'll discover that most of them didn't start out believing in these things. Rather, their wealth or power reached a certain level, and they naturally entered the gateway to metaphysics. Or, their wealth and power hit a bottleneck, and metaphysics helped them break through it. Afterward, they all became devoted believers.**

这一切为什么会发生？那我们必须就得从玄学和主流价值观的差别说起。
Why does this happen? We must start by discussing the differences between metaphysics and mainstream values.

### 一、这世界究竟公不公平？
**I. Is the World Actually Fair?**

主流价值观那当然是说世界是公平的。就像同一颗小球，同一个陡坡，你不管拿到哪里，它都会以同样的速度滚下去一样。我们教育教给我们的是世界是公平的。只要你有能力，你就会出人头地，所以如果你没有出人头地，那就是你能力不够，不是别的原因。
**Mainstream values, of course, preach that the world is fair. It's like taking the same small ball and the same steep slope—no matter where you put it, it will roll down at the same speed. Our education teaches us that the world is fair. If you have ability, you will succeed. Therefore, if you haven't succeeded, it's because you lack ability, not for any other reason.**

一切就像考试一样，你考得好，就是你足够努力；你考得不好，就是你不够努力。简单明了。严格意义上来说，这一点在学校里，相对来讲是适用的，你好好复习，认真背书，虽然也没有办法保证你上清华北大，但保一个基础分，争一个985211是可以的。
**Everything is like an exam: if you score well, you worked hard enough; if you score poorly, you didn't work hard enough. Simple and clear. Strictly speaking, this is relatively applicable in school. If you review properly and study diligently, it might not guarantee you entry into Tsinghua or Peking University, but it can secure you a baseline score and a shot at a top-tier university (Project 985/211).**

而在大学里，虽然已经开始出现了很多不公平，比如各种保研名额的分配等但公平竞争的路径，还是能比较稳定存在的。你好好读书，你好好考试，确实也能在学校里过得顺风顺水，可一旦出了学校，你就会发现公平这事情就有待商榷了。甚至在有些时候你抱着公平竞争的想法去竞争的话。你会发现，你连竞争什么都想不明白。
**In university, although many unfair elements begin to appear (like the allocation of post-graduate recommendations), the path of fair competition still relatively exists. If you study hard and perform well on exams, you can indeed navigate school smoothly. But once you leave school, you'll find the notion of fairness is highly debatable. Sometimes, if you try to compete with the idea of fair play, you'll realize you don't even understand what you're competing *for*.**

而反观玄学核心是这个世界从来不是公平，人和人之间，没有什么公平竞争的说法。毕竟每个人先天就不一样，只不过这个先天不同流派的叫法不一样。有的说阴德；有的说命盘；有的说因果，所以玄学也就没有什么公平竞争。只有因地制宜，因势利导的说法。
**In contrast, the core of metaphysics is that the world has never been fair. Between people, there's no such thing as fair competition. After all, everyone is inherently different from birth—different schools of thought just have different names for this inherent difference: some call it "yin virtue" (accumulated merit from past deeds), some call it "destiny charts" (astrological birth charts), others call it "karma." Therefore, metaphysics doesn't concern itself with fair competition. It only has the concepts of "suiting measures to local conditions" and "guiding action according to circumstances."**

甚至可以说，玄学中很大一部分知识，就是在告诉你，怎么多在自己有优势的地方，跟别人竞争，甚至怎么在一定能赢的领域去跟人家竞争。
**You could even say a large part of metaphysical knowledge is precisely about telling you how to compete more in areas where you have an advantage, or even how to compete in arenas where you are certain to win.**

而你再仔细看那些赚到大钱的人，就不难发现他们中有一个算一个都是用力拥抱了这种不公平的人，而他们只要拥抱了一次就会发现，如果自己再想有什么突破就必须学一些成体系的，不一样的东西。
If you take a closer look at those who have made great fortunes, you'll easily see that every single one of them has vigorously embraced this unfairness. And once they embrace it, they discover that if they want to make another breakthrough, they must learn some systematic, different kind of knowledge.

### 二、究竟什么是做好事？
**II. What Truly Constitutes "Doing Good"?**

我们从小到大其实在不自觉的情况下，接受了很多有关于好人，什么是好事的知识，比如最简单的，受人滴水之恩，应当涌泉相报，也就是说涌泉相报这个事情，是一个好人要做的好事，可事实是什么呢？
**From childhood, we unconsciously absorb a lot of knowledge about what a "good person" is and what "doing good" means. For example, the simplest one: "If you receive a drop of kindness, you should repay it with a gushing spring." In other words, repaying kindness abundantly is something a good person should do. But what is the reality?**

绝大多数情况下，其实都不行，首先是一大部分人被这个涌泉相报给吓住的人，因为纵向着要涌泉相报，所以根本不敢受人恩惠，这些人凡是都想着自己来，都想着能不麻烦别人就不麻烦别人，就都想着一旦欠了人情债，这辈子都还不清。在这个竞争高度激烈的社会，有这种思想的人，几个人能赚到钱？
**In most cases, it doesn't actually work. First, a large number of people are intimidated by the idea of "repaying with a gushing spring." Because they are fixated on having to repay so heavily, they don't dare accept favors from others at all. These people always think they must do everything themselves, avoid troubling others whenever possible, and believe that once they owe a favor, they'll never be able to repay it in this lifetime. In this highly competitive society, how many people with this mindset can actually make money?**

在玄学的世界里，对不同的人来讲是完全不一样的。有的人就是生而自由，那你让他老老实实的上班，其实就是让他做坏事；有的人就是命里全是天才，你让他乖乖领一份工资，那也是做坏事；还有的人命里就是胸心环绕，可你让他每天去打一份工，那同样也有大问题。
**In the world of metaphysics, what constitutes "good" is completely different for different people. Some people are born to be free—forcing them to work a regular 9-to-5 job is essentially making them do "bad" (for themselves). Some people are destined to be prodigies—having them quietly collect a salary is also doing "bad." Others are destined for great ambition and strategy—making them clock in for a job every day also creates major problems.**

同样，你也应该明白走不出好人好报这样规则束缚的人，很难赚到钱。
Similarly, you should understand that those who cannot break free from the束缚 of the rule that "good people get good rewards" will find it very difficult to make money.
